News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – ‘Kiss the Ground’, the third feature documentary in BUEI’s free, climate-focused film series, will screen on Sunday, October 23rd at 5.45pm. Winner of over 50 awards, ‘Kiss the Ground’ focuses on regenerative agriculture and its impact on the relationship between human health, soil health and planetary health. Regenerative agriculture, a relatively new term, traces back to farming methods of native cultures from thousands of years ago.
Narrated by Woody Harrellson, ‘Kiss the Ground’ strives to empower anyone, anywhere to advocate for and implement the solution to some of the biggest problems facing our planet today: climate change, droughts, flooding, food insecurity, soil infertility, and biodiversity loss. Immediately following the film, there will be a facilitated discussion with Finian Makepeace, Co-Founder, Policy Director & Lead Educator of Kiss the Ground, and Karen Rodriguez, its Vice President of Program Operations. This family-friendly event will be 90 minutes well spent.
Again, thank you for your assistance and support in spreading the word. Please also remind young people in your circle of influence that Sunday is the last day to register for November’s Youth Climate Summit!
When we know better, we do better!
