Good news out of the hospital updates on the off duty police officer who sustained serious injuries in an early morning road traffic accident several weeks ago.

Police say the 22-year male officer’s condition has been upgraded to stable and he is now on a general ward following an extensive period in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The early morning accident occurred on Sunday, June 23 on Crow Lane in Pembroke around 2:45am.

A police spokesman said at last check this morning (July 15), he was listed in  stable condition on a general ward at the hospital, after initially receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.”
