Police responded to a single vehicle car crash on Middle Road in Southampton tonight, that resulted in a 48-year-old woman being rushed to the Emergency Department via ambulance shortly after 8pm.
A police spokesman said the driver, who was travelling west in the area of Jew’s Bay, apparently lost control of her vehicle and collided with a wall.
“She was helped out of the car and taken via ambulance to the hospital where she is being treated for injuries that do not appear to be life threatening,” he said.
Inquiries into the accident are now underway.
