The Department of Public Works issued another reminder this week, that for the second consecutive week, garbage usually collected on Monday will be picked up two days early because of the Remembrance Day holiday.
The early pick-up affects residents in Sandys and Southampton West, up to and including Lighthouse Road from Middle Road to South Road.
Garbage will be collected this Saturday, November 9.
Tynes Bay Waste Treatment Facility will be open from 9am to noon.
