Warwick Laundromat joined a growing list of facilities back open for business with permission to operate during the Shelter in Place order now in effect until May 2.
A spokesperson for the Warwick facility said they will open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Customers will need to call 236-5403 to make an appointment.
Only one customer will be allowed access inside at any time.
“The customer simply leaves his/her name, telephone number and the day and time he/she would like to use the laundromat and we will try to accommodate him/her as best as possible,” the spokesperson added.
“All customers will be required to produce a picture ID and workable telephone number before entering the premises. It is recommended that all customers wear a mask and gloves while inside the building.
“No customers will be allowed to remain in the building to wait for their laundry to be washed or dried and there will be no folding of clothes once the clothes are dry.
“Customers will be asked to remain in their cars in the parking lot while they wait. Social distancing must be maintained at all times and no children will be allowed to play either in the laundromat building or in the parking lot.
“We thank the public for their cooperation.”
