News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – The Bermuda Tourism Authority will host the island’s inaugural Swizzle Festival today (Oct 9) at Barr’s Bay Park from 1 pm-6 pm.  The premiere event will feature a collective of the island’s top swizzle masters, alongside food vendors with swizzle-infused culinary offerings on their menus.  

Beyond the swizzle-themed treats, cocktail tasting, and food offerings, the event will include a line-up of high-energy sets by local performers such as  Silver City Band, Working Title Band, and DJ Mystro delivering Top 40 hits and soca sounds throughout the day.  Patrons are invited to sample various interpretations of the classic Bermuda Rum Swizzle at the picturesque harbour-side location, enjoy the entertainment, and partake of the savoury and sweet food options available for sale.

What to Expect
 
The Swizzle Festival will feature traditional rum swizzle and fresh flavourful interpretations of the classic Bermuda Rum. Swizzle-infused food and sweet treats will be on sale alongside an array of savoury food vendors.

Food vendors will accept cash or card.  

Swizzle samples are available at $2.50 per token (cash or card)

  • 1 token = 1 swizzle sample
  • 3 tokens = 1 cup of swizzle
