A 43-year-old man described as a “vile” monster, was today jailed for a total of 35 years on two consecutive sentences, for committing sex acts on two young sisters – was only 8 or 9-years-old.

Locksley Cummings was also told that he would spend at least 17-and-a-half years in jail before he becomes eligible for parole.

He was found guilty on five counts of sexual exploitation of the young girls in February.

The offences took place between 2007 and 2009 with the first victim.

The court heard that seven years later he started preying on the younger sister.

The accused had intercourse with both girls, in addition to other sexual acts at his home.

Puisne Judge Shade Subair-Williams sentenced Cummings to 17 years for two counts against the first victim, and 18 years for three counts against the second victim.

Both sentences are to run consecutively.

Justice Subair-Williams also noted that Cummings showed no remorse and that the case involved several aggravating factors, including the young age of the victims and the predatory nature of the attacks.

The victims also suffered physical injuries as a result of Cummings.

She also ordered that Cummings must serve a ten-year supervision order upon his release as the risk assessment report said that he was “highly likely” to re-offend. And his name will go on the Sex Offenders List.
