Two people were rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department today after a shed caught fire in Sandys.
Firefighters arrived at the scene of a single-storey wooden structure on Woodlawn Road around 8:20am, to find the shed engulfed in flames.
Three fire vehicles and six firefighters tackled the blaze.
Fortunately, the building did not suffer structural damage, but contents including a mattress and other personal belongings were destroyed.
