Police launched a new murder investigation last night (Aug 20) after two men were stabbed and one succumbed to his injuries.
Police received a report of a disturbance shortly after 8pm at an Astwood Walk, Warwick residence.
“Two men were reported to have been stabbed after being involved in an altercation with several other men,” a spokeswoman said.
“The injured men were transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment. However, one of the men has succumbed to his injuries and the other remains hospitalized.
“A murder investigation has commenced and is being lead by Detective Inspector Jason Smith of the Serious Crime Unit.
