Forecasters at the Bermuda Weather Service say Tropical Storm Tammy continues to meander to our east, as it starts to pull away from the local area, and strong gusty winds will soon begin to ease.
According to the latest update: “Despite a couple showers overnight, the weekend sees much more settled weather developing as high pressure builds in from the northwest.
“Hazardous surf and rip currents continue to diminish.“
A small craft warning will remain in effect tonight through to Saturday afternoon.
The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy with a couple showers around. Winds are out of the north and strong, soon easing moderate to strong.
The low tonight will be 74°F.
Sunny skies will develop after a couple of early showers on Saturday, with moderate winds out of th north that will gradually ease, becoming north-northeasterly and moderate.
The forecast for Sunday calls for mostly sunny skies with winds north-northeasterly and moderate, veering northeasterly light to moderate in the afternoon, then easterly overnight.
