Former Attorney General Trevor Moniz was a ‘no show’ in the House of Assembly on Monday, the next day of proceedings after he was kicked out of the Lower House last Friday.

The One Bermuda Alliance MP was told to take a walk after he repeatedly accused National Security Minister Wayne Caines of “misleading the House”.

The row erupted during the Motion to Adjourn over the recent dismissal by US District Court Judge Indira Taiwani of the former government’s case, filed by Mr Moniz against Lahey Clinic.

When contacted by Bermuda Real on Monday, Speaker of the House, Dennis Lister said: “For the record, the Member will be given the opportunity to resume his seat today, should he take the correct steps to acknowledge his disrespect of the Speaker on Friday.”

It didn’t happen. We’ll keep you posted.
