Three men were led off the grounds at St George’s Cricket Club in handcuffs yesterday, following an altercation that broke out in one of the camps between a group of young men.

The incident occurred around 6:19pm during the final round of play which halted the game briefly. One man left the scene bloodied as a result of the altercation.

Video circulating via social media this weekend shows a large crowd of people watching the fight taking place, while others tried to get out of the way. A woman screaming for security could also be heard on one of the videos recorded as police arrived at the scene of the disturbance.

After three men were arrested, a police spokesman said “it was not a major incident”, and that “it was all over in two minutes”.

Meanwhile, the investigation into the incident continues.
