Police have confirmed the death of 75-year-old Elliott Van Putten, whose body was found in a public restroom at the Hamilton Docks on Monday night.
A police spokesman said: “Despite life-saving efforts by responding emergency medical technicians, he was pronounced dead at that location by an on call doctor a short time later.
“Foul play is not suspected and a cause of death is being examined.”
He also extended sincere condolences to the family of the deceased on behalf of the Bermuda Police Service.
