As of this Saturday, April 27 through to Monday, April 29, between the hours of 7am and 10pm, crews will be unloading materials at Marginal Wharf and trucking them to the airport redevelopment site for the construction works at the new airport terminal.
A spokesperson said: “In order to allow long loads to cross St David’s Road, near Ricketts Street, into the airport site, traffic control will be implemented and intermittent stoppages will occur.
“This will affect traffic flow and we encourage people travelling to and from St David’s to allow extra time for travel. This may also impact noise levels near Marginal Wharf.
“We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused and we ask for the cooperation of the public and local businesses. For further information, please call Skyport on 293-2470.”
