Shadow Minister of Transport, Susan Jackson, expressing heartfelt condolences on behalf of the One Bermuda Alliance to the families of the two people who lost their lives in fatal accidents this weekend.

In a statement released yesterday (Mar 26), Ms Jackson said: “I’m shocked and saddened to learn of two road fatalities last night (Mar 25).

“On behalf of The One Bermuda Alliance, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased during this difficult time.”

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) confirmed that the 42-year-old woman involved in a single vehicle car crash which occurred on Beacon Hill, Sandys, around 10:35pm on Friday, March 25th, succumbed to her injuries.

Additionally,  a spokesman said: “We can confirm that the 51-year-old man, who was involved in what appears to be a single vehicle collision which occurred on South Road near Church Bay, Southampton, around 3:15am Saturday morning (Mar 26), has also, sadly, succumbed to his injuries.
