The Bermuda Safety Council will host their second annual Premier Awards later this evening at the Earl Cameron Theatre at City Hall.

Entertainment includes a performance by The Berkeley Institute Choir, directed by John Woolridge, Rickeesha Binns, Tiffany Fox, Mitchell Trott, a performance by Places Gombeys – one of the recipients this year.

We’ll have more on the recipients and the event in a subsequent report after the event, which gets underway at 6pm this evening and runs through to 9pm.

Members of the public are invited to “come and support your local craftsmen, athletes and artists”.

A spokesperson said: “One hundred female presenters have signed up to present the 50 divisions of construction awards along with ten performances”.
