The search continues for the pair of pitbulls on the loose, that savaged family pets in the Bailey’s Bay area last week.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Home Affairs confirmed that the dogs had not been found, despite a search by animal wardens, who have worked with the Bermuda Police Service.
The dogs killed one cat and one dog, and injured at least two other animals in Hamilton Parish last Wednesday.
The spokeswoman warned that anyone found to be harbouring the dogs could be liable for court action.
It is an offence to keep a dog that has caused death or injury to a person or animal under the 2008 Dogs Act.
It is also illegal to fail to pass on information in connection with an offence committed under the dogs legislation.
