Parents of students who attend Saltus Middle and Senior schools were notified that in-class learning will not resume this week after more than 40 staff were potentially exposed to COVID-19.
But the school’s Cavendish and Upper Primary department will reopen for the new school year as scheduled.
In a letter sent out today by the head of the school, Deryn Lavell said: “Last night we were informed by the Ministry of Health that because of the potential COVID-19 exposure at Saltus last week during staff training and orientation we now have 41 members of staff Health consider as close contacts.
