Bermuda Real has confirmed that Somerset cricketer Dion Stovell was treated and released from King Edward VII Memorial Hospital last night, after he was struck in the head by a cricket ball at Wellington Oval yesterday.
The young cricketer fell to the ground and was surrounded by players, while medics attended.
Efforts to get an update on his condition just came in and we will be speaking with team members and hopefully the captain shortly.
We’ll keep you posted right after the interview for updates, scheduled for 12-noon today.
