A 27-year-old man was formally charged with a shooting that occurred in 2011 today.
Khyri Smith Williams, of Sandys, was charged with the unlawful shooting of Tyrone Pedro with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was further charged with using a firearm to commit the indictable offence.
The defendant, who will be tried before a judge and jury of his peers in the Supreme Court, was not required to enter a plea.
He is due to appear in the next arraignment session on June 1.
