News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda (January 13, 2021 ) — A recent webinar hosted by Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA) on SailGP jobs and business opportunities is now accessible online.
A total of more than 150 people attended the 90-minute, January 8 webinar, hosted by the BTA and featuring SailGP Event Director Jennie Kim and Head of Marketing & Innovation Michael Porter; SailGP Community Steering Committee Deputy Chair Mark Clarke; committee member Jamari Douglas, of the Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA); and the BTA’s Interim CEO Glenn Jones and Director of Communications & Strategy Rosemary Jones.
Panellists detailed numerous opportunities available for entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized businesses on the island as SailGP’s eight national teams come to Bermuda to train and race over several weeks this spring. The league’s second season kicks off with the inaugural Bermuda Grand Prix presented by Hamilton Princess April 24–25 in the Great Sound.
