News Release: HAMILTON, Bermuda – The Rockaway ferry stop was closed temporarily around 10am on Friday (Dec 9), due to a default with the ramp.

A spokesperson said: “The Department of Works and Engineering has been notified to determine the necessary repairs.”

The stop was closed in September due to the same problem, roughly two months after the faulty ramp caused service to be suspended for three weeks back in July.

The Department of Marine and Port Services apologised to commuters for the inconvenience.
