Bermuda Real has just confirmed that the eighth road traffic fatality last night claimed the life of a young woman, who was only 22-years-old.
A Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to assist the families now reeling in grief and no further information will be released pending notification of next of kin. But a relative of the deceased confirmed that they were informed of the loss of their beloved family member overnight.
The two-vehicle accident involving two motorcycles occurred around 11:43pm last night.
“Details surrounding this collision are very limited at this time,” a spokeswoman said.
“However, two people are reported to be injured, one them is listed in critical condition.”
Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by an attending physician.
Police are now appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of collision or anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1788.”
