A 46-year-old male motorcyclist seriously injured in a road traffic accident on May 19th has been airlifted overseas for further treatment.
A police spokesman said the injured rider, believed to be from Smith’s Parish, was being treated in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit prior to his departure.
The two-vehicle accident involving a truck, occurred on Harrington Sound Road near Odyssey Drive around 11pm on Friday, May 19th.
Meanwhile, the investigation into the collision continues. Any witnesses who have not come forward already, are urged to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1788.
