The Ministry of Public Works is advising that due to the Cup Match holiday (Thursday August 1 & August 2), trash that would normally be collected on these days will be collected on Saturday, August 3.
Also, recycling normally collected Thursday August 1, will be collected Wednesday July 31.
And recycling normally collected Friday August 2, will be collected on Saturday August 3.
All other waste collection will be unaffected by the holiday.
The Tynes Bay public drop off holiday hours are from 9am – 12pm.
