Heavy rain throughout the day put a damper on the planned birthday drive by, but it didn’t stop the celebration of the 107th birthday of Louise Franks at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
Among those celebrating her birthday was Premier David Burt, also born on November 23.
Right after the visit, he tweeted: “Wishing my birthday twin, Louise Franks a very Happy 107th Birthday today!
“It was a pleasure to spend a few moments with her, and I wish her health, strength and lots of love as she celebrates her birthday.”
He also posted the photograph.
