Premier and Minister of Finance, David Burt, will host a Town Hall meeting to discuss the Government’s 2017 Throne Speech initiatives next week.

He will be joined by some of his Cabinet colleagues to provide a presentation on the 26-page legislative agenda and take question from the audience.

In a statement released after the one-hour speech was delivered on Friday, Premier Burt said: “I welcome the opportunity to share the government’s plans and vision with the people and I look forward to hearing feedback from attendees.”

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 12th from 6:30pm to 8pm at CedarBridge Academy.

On Monday, he will also meet with members of the media to discuss the Throne Speech at the Cabinet Building at 2pm.

Education Minister Diallo Rabain

Both the Premier and Education Minister Diallo Rabain will also be making their ‘Back to School’ rounds on Monday at Northlands and Elliot Primary, CedarBridge Academy and The Berkeley Institute.

Minister Rabain will start out at Elliot Primary at 8:30am Monday morning before moving on to CedarBridge Academy at 9am.

Premier Burt will greet students at Northlands at 8:15am and The Berkeley Institute later in the day at 1pm.
