Premier David Burt visited three east end seniors homes on Monday.
Accompanied by Deputy Premier Walter Roban, Deputy Speaker of the House and Aging Well Committee Chairman, Derrick Burgess and St George’s West MP Kim Swan greeted residents at Sylvia Richardson Care Facility, Dorothy Crane Nursing Home and Cynthia’s Rest Home.
After making their rounds Mr Burt said it was a “great opportunity to spend some time with Bermuda’s seniors”.
“We had a brief tour of the facilities, learned some history and celebrated a 90th birthday,” he said.
“This Government is fully committed to our seniors’ on-going health and welfare.
“Today’s visits gave us an opportunity to hear which services are working well and how we can work to continue to provide support for our seniors.”
