Premier David Burt announced his decision on who will replace the two Cabinet Ministers who quit their portfolios earlier this week with two MPs already within their ranks. But that decision is only temporary.
The announcement came via a tweet on Tuesday confirming that he has asked Minister Diallo Rabain to serve as acting Minister of National Security and Wayne Furbert to serve as Acting Minister of Tourism & Transport.
Mr Burt tweeted: “Earlier today (July 7) I asked Minister Diallo Rabain to serve as acting Minister of National Security & Minister Wayne Furbert to serve as Acting Minister of Tourism & Transport. They will act until next week when I will announce cabinet changes as a result of yesterday’s resignations.”
Diallo Rabain currently serves as the Minister of Education and Wayne Furbert is the Minister for the Cabinet Office.
