Premier David Burt added his voice to the social media fallout today after pictures of “what appears to be an illegal raft-up” drew heavy criticism on the local social media circuit this past weekend.
In a follow up post, the Premier tweeted: “The images of what appears to be an illegal raft-up are not in compliance with the laws of Bermuda as raft-ups are not permitted.”
Now he has “asked the Minister of National Security to liaise with the Bermuda Police Service on this matter”.
Pictures of the the event tagged as being in Bermuda, surfaced via Instagram and other social media platforms that drew heavy criticism. The videos also show a performance, tagging the account of international reggae artist Shaggy.
