A 16-year-old female motorcyclist sustained a leg injury in a two-vehicle road traffic accident on Saturday, February 24, was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department for treatment yesterday.
Police say the accident occurred around 2:10pm on Saturday, February 24th, on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish.
A police spokesman said the young motorist from Paget, “who was riding a 50cc auxiliary cycle along North Shore Road, collided with a car being driven in the opposite direction, near the junction with Radnor Road.
“The teen apparently sustained a leg injury and was transported via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
“An update on her condition will be provided in due course. There were no other injuries reported. However, both vehicles were damaged,” he said.
