Good news out of the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital this weekend, with word that the young female passenger seriously injured with five others in a car crash, has been moved out of the Intensive Care Unit to a general ward.

At last check, the 18-year-old woman, one of two women in the car when the accident occurred around 10:20pm on Monday, March 12th, is now listed in stable condition, “after initially receiving treatment in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit”.

The investigation continues and any witnesses or persons who have not already come forward with information about this crash – which injured the vehicle’s five passengers as well as the driver, who was initially arrested on suspicion of impaired driving – are still encouraged to to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.
