Police and emergency responders were dispatched following an incident that took place on Cedar Avenue in Pembroke around 7am this morning (Saturday).
A spokesman said when police arrived they found an unresponsive woman in her residence.
“An on call doctor was notified and her death was certified,” he added.
“No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified.
“Foul play at this point is not suspected.”
