The police appeal for witnesses to that weekend stabbing incident at Horseshoe Bay, outside the Rum Bum Beach Bar continues, particularly for “anyone with video footage of the stabbing to come forward”.

That video is still circulating on the local social media circuit, with photographs of the victim’s injuries.

A spokesman said today that the 19-year-old woman arrested in connection with the stabbing of an 18-year-old Devonshire woman, who was arrested yesterday (August 26) remains in custody.

The incident occurred about 12:30am on Sunday, August 25.

Any information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence,” the spokesman said.

Witnesses or members of the public with relevant information or video footage of this incident are again encouraged to call the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744.
