A police vehicle crashed into a hedge along St David’s Road in St George’s this morning.
The accident occurred around 11:15am this morning (February 27th).
A spokesman said: “No other vehicle was involved and a tow truck subsequently assisted in removing the police Land Cruiser from the hedge.”
No injuries were reported and the scene was processed by the relevant personnel.
Inquiries regarding the circumstances of the crash continue and witnesses are urged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.
Meanwhile, police are investigating another road traffic accident that occurred around 7:45am this morning, on Middle Road in Paget, near the traffic lights.
Details remain limited, but the spokesman said: “Initial information suggests that a motorcycle was involved and that two people were hurt.
“Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
“An update on any injuries sustained will be provided in due course,” he added.
Traffic was temporarily diverted as inquiries continue and any witnesses are urged to contact police.
