Public Works personnel have cleared “the downed tree and tree branches from the affected section of Parson’s Lane in Devonshire.
A police spokesman said this evening (Sunday, August 11): “The patience of the motoring public and area residents while the clean-up was conducted is greatly appreciated.”
Motorists and pedestrians were advised earlier to avoid the area, which was marked with traffic cones as a precaution.
The fallen tree branches, were “likely due to Saturday’s inclement weather”.
