Police confirmed today that a 17-year-old who sustained leg injuries after she was “struck by a boat propeller in a marine incident at Shelly Bay on Saturday, June 15th “has been treated and discharged from hospital, after initially being admitted to a general ward”.

A spokesman said: “Marine police, Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service and ambulance personnel all responded to the incident and assisted with initial medical care.”

The incident occurred around 5pm during the raft up over the holiday weekend.
