The 30-year-old male motorcyclist who sustained serious injuries in a road traffic collision with a car shortly after midnight on Saturday, remains listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
The accident occurred near the junction of Elliot Street and Union Street in Hamilton around 12:10am on October 14th. Inquiries regarding this collision continue and any witnesses are urged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.
Meanwhile, the female drivers involved in that two car collision at the junction of Church Street and Court Street, were treated and released from the hospital’s Emergency Department on Saturday.
A police spokesman said the accident occurred shortly after 4pm when it appears that one car was being driven along Church Street, while the other was being driven along Court Street.
“Both drivers involved, believed to be a 55-year-old St George’s woman and a 58-year-old Southampton woman, were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for medical assessment of non-life threatening injuries, treated and later discharged.
“The two vehicles involved were damaged and inquiries continue,” he said.
