The Bermuda Police Service has confirmed that two serving officers have been charged with serious sexual assault and perverting the course of justice.
A police spokesman said: “These officers have not been found guilty of any offence and these matters must be dealt with before the courts.
“Both officers have now been suspended from duty until further notice.”
