Two men were arrested following a fight outside a school involving four males with two reportedly brandishing a knife and a baseball bat on Monday (May 17).

No word yet on the ages of the two men arrested after officers responded to the report of the fight near the Berkeley Institute in Pembroke at about 3.30pm.

A spokesman said: “Callers reported one of the males was armed with a knife, while another was carrying a baseball bat.

“Upon arrival, police received information that two of the males involved in the incident left on a motorcycle and two others had gone to a nearby residence.

“Officers attended the residence and arrested the two males who allegedly were armed.”

The spokesman also thanked the members of the public who had helped police.

Meanwhile, the appeal for any other witnesses – particularly the woman who recorded the incident on a cell phone – to contact police.
