Two men involved in a “disturbance involving three males one of who was reportedly in possession of a bladed article”, were arrested this afternoon.

A police spokesman said: “At approximately 3:30pm on Thursday July 30th, personnel from the Royal Bermuda Regiment, on duty at Horseshoe Bay parking lot, reported a disturbance involving three males, one of whom was reportedly in possession of a bladed article.

“That individual along with another male suspect left the area in a motorcar, which was subsequently located at a private residence in Southampton.

“The two male suspects who were also at that location, were arrested and transported by police to the Hamilton Police Station.

“There were no reported injuries during the initial incident which is now being investigated.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 211 or the main police number 295-0011.”
