Police issued an advisory on traffic delays folliwng another serious road traffic on Middle Road in Devonshire this afternoon.
The single-vehicle accident occurred near the junction with Orange Valley Road, reducing traffic to a single lane.
A police spokeswoman said: ‘Initial information suggests that a man riding a motorcycle lost control of the vehicle, causing him to crash.
“He has been conveyed to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he is being treated for a suspected head injury.
“Traffic delays are expected and motorists are advised to take alternative routes while police process the scene.”
