Police arrested three motorists on suspicion of impaired driving between Friday, January 24 and Sunday evening (January 26) at road sobriety checkpoints.
A spokesman said: “While there are no road sobriety checkpoints scheduled for this coming weekend, members of the public are urged not to drive or ride under the influence as police officers conducting their regular patrols will be on the lookout for any offences, including impaired driving.”
The weekend checkpoints were set up in seven parishes – Hamilton Parish, Smith’s, Devonshire, Pembroke, Paget, Warwick and Southampton.
