Police are investigating a burglary that occurred during the early morning hours this morning, where three men were observed wearing face masks and dressed in dark clothing near the Rubis service station on St John’s Road in Pembroke around 2:15am.

A spokesman said they were spotted by officers on patrol who were travelling west on St John’s Road;

“Upon seeing the officers, the three males ran off along Pembroke Park Lane and escaped. However, officers recovered several items dropped by the suspects as they ran off.

“After further investigation, the officers observed the front door to RUBIS service station had been forced open with the glass cracked and lock broken,” he said.
“The items recovered are believed to have been taken from inside.”
