Police rounded up a total of ten motorists on suspicion of impaired driving over the Cup Match holiday weekend in roadside sobriety checks conducted in eight parishes between Thursday evening (August 1) until Sunday evening (August 4).
A spokesman said today: “There are no road sobriety checkpoints scheduled for this coming weekend.
“However, members of the public are urged not to drive, ride or operate a boat under the influence – for their own safety and that of all road users as well as those navigating our waters.”
