A 69-year-old senior citizen was rushed to the hospital’s Emergency Department this afternoon, following a single vehicle accident in Pembroke.
A police spokeswoman said officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision involving a car on Curving Avenue around 1.30pm.
“Initial information suggests a 69-year-old man was exiting Rambling Lane, when he collided with a wall on Curving Avenue,” she said.
“The exact nature of his injuries is unknown and he was conveyed to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. A female passenger was not reported to be injured.”
Police were still processing the scene and diverting traffic away from the area as of 3.40pm.
