The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) has confirmed the arrest of a second suspect in connection with the recent gun murder of Kyari Flood.

A spokesman said today: “A 19-year-old male was arrested when officers executed a firearms warrant at a Dundonald Street, Pembroke residence.

“A 20-year-old Devonshire man arrested in connection with Mr Flood’s murder, remains in police custody at this time,” he added.

“Officers from the police Tactical Unit, Armed Response, and Serious Crimes Units were involved in today’s operation.”

Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector, Jason Smith said: “The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public the public for their support with our investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of Kyari Flood.

“However, there remains a lot of work to be done and so we are once more appealing for anyone with any information, even if you don’t think it’s important, to please get in contact with us. That bit of information that you have may just be what we need to bring to justice whomever is responsible for Mr. Flood’s death.”
