Another motorcyclist was admitted to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit today, following a single vehicle road crash that occurred on North Shore Road, near the junction with Barkers Hill in Devonshire.
The early morning accident occurred around 1:45am this morning. Initial information indicates that the motorcyclist, believed to be a 23-year-old Devonshire man was traveling in the westbound lane on North Shore Road, when he struck the round-a-bout.
The injured rider was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for “treatment of a suspected head injury and initially admitted to the Intensive Care Unit”.
An update on his condition will be provided in due course.
