Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Court Street in the City of Hamilton around 8:15pm last night (August 20), only to find no such thing on arrival.
A police spokesman said: “Officers responded and conducted a search of the immediate area.
“However, the report could not be substantiated.
“Any witnesses or members of the public with relevant information are encouraged to call the main police telephone number 295-0011 or the independent and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.
