Police officers with armed response and forensic support units rushed to the Deepdale Road area of Pembroke just after 10pm last night (Dec 28), following more reports of another firearms incident.
A police spokesman said a number of live rounds as well as spent shells were recovered at the scene.
Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries and checks with King Edward Hospital confirmed no one came in seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.
